After a traumatic first birth which ended in emergency caesarean, Meghann was faced with this situation again due to medical reasons but this time she wanted it to be different. She took control of her birth experience and went on to have a much more empowered birth the second time around. In this short video she shares her story and what this meant for her.
“The second time I was with my hubby and we got to see our son being born, we had skin to skin and breastfeeding within a few minutes…I was in control. It was my choice.”
“Although I wouldn’t recommend a c-section to anybody (it’s major abdominal surgery) it IS very much possible to be in control and have an empowering experience.”
