As they say “think global, act local” so with that in mind…..
Here are just a few ideas that would make the world of difference:
- Hand out birth resources cards/ flyers to all pregnant women, birth professionals, natural health practitioners (who work with pregnant women) you know or any mummy visited cafes, shops, kinders, childcare centres, schools or mummy/baby businesses that you normally cross on your path and even better in maternity stores, maternal child health centres, hospital maternity wards, birth centres in your area.
- Put up posters in your local community of mummy visited business (shop windows/ display counters/ noticeboards), kinder/ creche/ playgroup or e-noticeboards in the local newsletter
- Show some link love! Include a link for Birth Goddess on your website, blog or magazine. Ask us to send you a badge or a web/ facebook link!
- Ask for the book making positive waves at your local library or bookstore: A Modern Woman’s Guide to a Natural Empowering Birth by Katrina Zaslavsky (with afterword by Dr Sarah Buckley MD) to help us reach more corners of Australia and beyond with our empowering message OR add the book to your professional resources library to put into the hands of every pregnant woman you meet OR add to your “recommended reading list” on your website/ handouts for your course or workshop. Even better, include the book in your package or course so it becomes essential reading!!
- Include us in your next newsletter or blog – we can provide ready blurb and images or even better, invite Katrina for an interview to share the heart of what Birth Goddess vision is all about.
