Hi Katrina Zaslavsky, I purchased your book { A Modern Woman’s Guide to a Natural Empowering Birth} a few weeks ago and am half way through it, I am a very proud mumma of 3 children and 18 weeks pregnant with my 4th. All three births were very different from each other.
My last was 2.5 yrs ago and due to high blood pressure was told it was best to be induced by my Obstetrician and all I wanted was a natural drug free water birth. Although very dissapointed with the outcome (the pain was so intense and magnified resulting in me taking gas and pethidine and screaming for an epidural, which i didnt have) thank God. It was the best for my baby.
I am very determined to have the natural birth i want this time and reading your book has inspired and empowered me to connect with my baby in womb and hopefully we will work together in having a beautiful birth the way Mother Nature intended.
Thank you for writing such an amazing tool which has also inspired me to want to study to be a doula so I too can help other mummas out there have the births they want.
