n.b I had the pleasure of meeting Kristy at our Birth Goddess Gathering in Adelaide South Australia in June 2012 when she was pregnant with her second baby and seeking to have a more peaceful natural birth experience than her first. At this event she picked up the book A Modern Woman’s Guide to a Natural Empowering Birth and Birth Goddess Cards to support her on her journey.
This is what she shared after the birth of her baby:
“Hi Katrina, I just wanted to let you know that in the days before i gave birth I began to get hungry for positive birthing stories so I grabbed your book and re read it. The next day I hypnobirthed my little girl into the world at home. I had a quick pain free labour and didn’t have time to set up a birth pool so my husband delivered her in our bath tub with our midwife present. I have attached my birthing slideshow if you would like to share. I will also write a blog. Are you happy for me to write about your book? Thanks, Kristy”
She shares, “I have now had my healing homebirth after my first traumatic delivery.”
